Orlando Stoics Movie Night - Shawshank Redemption
Details
This is movie night for Orlando Stoics (last Friday of each month).
The movie is "Shawshank Redemption": the powerful story of Andy Dufresne, played by Tim Robbins. He's a banker who says he's falsely accused of murder... and he plans to break out of prison. It's a very Stoic profile: someone in great hardship, who refuses to resort to anger and violence. Instead, he displays a "quietness" and a kindness to all around him. Also stars Morgan Freeman, Clancy Brown, James Whitmore.
Unlike our usual weekly meetings, this will be an unstructured evening. No outline will be prepared.
