100 Years of Science: Stranger than Fiction

Details
This is a one-time lecture by StoicDan and Marco (a physicist).
Why was a solar eclipse needed to prove Einstein's general theory of relativity?
Why did petroleum companies delay the discovery of the "K-T Extinction Event" for 41 years?
Why does quantum weirdness change the rules?
Join StoicDan and Marco as they co-present fascinating stories about science in the last 100 years. While each story is completely true, they each have twists and turns -- stranger than fiction.
The meeting will have plenty of time for Q&A.
Venue: Boston Coffeehouse, Altamonte Springs. Please arrive hungry. The food is inexpensive and we have the place to ourselves. They are staying open just for us.
Parking is free, and this meetup is free.
This is not the normal weekly meeting of the Orlando Stoics. This is a one-time lecture.
This group enjoys open-minded, respectful conversations on philosophy and related topics. So, sometimes "we agree to disagree", but the long-term goal is to improve our minds via group discussions.
We hope to see you there!
