"Death by Despair": Are American Men Dying from Desperation?

Details
Plato's Cave and UU Inquiring Minds have invited StoicDan to present "Death by Despair" this Sunday morning.
This is not the weekly meeting of the Orlando Stoics. This is a one-time lecture. Open to the public.
The US economy seems to be booming, but the death rate for white males is rising. The trend is influenced by alcohol and drug abuse (opiods), plus suicide rates. Also, the geography is focused on the USA Heartland, where middle-aged white men without college degrees have lost jobs in mining and manufacturing. Join us for StoicDan's lecture and Q&A on "Death by Despair". We'll discuss how the USA is divided by income and opportunities, and we'll cover the risk factors for male suicide rates (struggling with social isolation, coping with emotions, and lacking meaningful relationships).
Parking is free, and this meetup is free.
Reading in advance is optional. If you have time, consider the following links.

If it's your first time at UUUF, you can easily find the entrance. On McCulloch Road, look for the red water pipes and the new UUUF electronic sign.
Parking - park on the grass in front of the main building. Walk past the main building to the building IN BACK. The side door (near the shed and the gravel road) will be open.
Hope to see you there!
