New Lecture "The Future of Peace"

Orlando's Speculative Futures Group has invited StoicDan to present a new lecture "The Future of Peace". What will represent peace in the future? And is it attainable?

This is a one-time lecture. Open to the public.

Five months ago, StoicDan attended the 68th United Nations Civil Society Conference in Salt Lake City (August 2019). Thousands of UN officials and NGOs were discussing and developing their goals for the future. Peace is not merely the absence of conflict. Other factors for peace are reducing hunger and poverty, providing quality education and equal education for all, and offering affordable energy and sustainable communities. Peace also means justice between various groups of people. All of these important global issues must be addressed to find and sustain peace.

Parking - the Garland parking lot is opposite the "Exchange" building. Parking is not free. The cost should be $4 for 2 hours.

Directions - if you know where Church Street is, go one block north, and park in the Garland Parking Lot. Enter the "Exchange" building and look for #108, which is Starter Studio. The doors to the "Exchange" building may look closed for the evening, but they are unlocked. Walk right in!
