Oskari Pitching Event
Come and pitch your experiences in creating services with Oskari! We are searching companies providing Oskari based services. We want to find out what your company can do with Oskari. Although the software is free to use, you can still create services based on open source software. These services could be training, tailoring, maintenance or workshops on developing Oskari. We want to know what do you have to offer for the community! Therefore we are arranging a pitching and discussion event for everybody interested in Oskari based services. The event will be held at[masked] at 14-16 o’clock at the National Museum at Helsinki (meeting room Ateljee, Mannerheimintie 34, 00100 Helsinki). Each Oskari service provider will be given a 5-10 minutes pitching slot and after that we want to discuss joint development in order to promote the use of those services. The Joint Development Forum for Oskari will be also attending. 14:00 Start of the day: Oskari joint development and procurement processes -Rina Tammisto, head of Oskari Joint Development Forum, Statistics Finland -Sanna Jokela, Oskari communication coordinator 14:15-15:15 Company pitching, reserve your slot! 15:15-15:30 “Open Mic” – comments and ideas 15:30-16:00 Discussion on joint development The idea of the event is to find new ways to utilize Oskari and at the same time grow our Oskari community. There will be also the possible client side present, the Oskari service owners, and they might have use for your expertise. But we have to state that this event is not part of any procurement process we know of, but we are interested in open communication between service providers and product owners. One of the goals in Oskari community is to gain foot hold in the global Open GIS world and the best way to do it, is to start providing more information about Oskari, ask questions openly and provide good quality Oskari based services. Everybody is welcome! More info here: https://verkosto.oskari.org/en/are-you-offering-oskari-based-services/
