Wrapping Packages in R with {devtools} and Friends

[Abstract]
For this year's final meetup, we'll be wrapping a holiday season-themed package! Using {devtools} and all its little helpers, like {usethis} and {testthat}, we'll walk through the basic process of making a package, and will address some of the most common best practices and dos-and-donts.

Afterwards, we'll recap the past year and want to hear from you - the community - about topics and speakers you want to see and hear next year.

Don't forget to bring your gløgg and some pepperkake :)

Raoul Wolf is a senior environmental advisor and scientific developer at the Norwegian Geotechnical Institute (www.ngi.no). He has experience in using R from research to production, and occasionally teaches R. He's also well-trained in drinking gløgg and eating pepperkake.
