We are a group of makers and doers in Canada's capital region with a passion for innovation. Our focus is to apply machine learning, control systems , electronics and more to small scale RC car projects. Anyone is welcome to join in, regardless of skill level. The main goal is to learn, teach and apply something new, meet new people, and most importantly, have fun.
We look forward to meeting you!

We are going to try something new starting this week. We will be having a weekly drop-in style meeting @7-9pm EST. Pop in and out as you please, we are here to Talk AVs and Hack RCs. We will be meeting on our discord in the #General channel. Here is the link: https://discord.gg/3G7beD3
The weather is getting nice on the northern hemisphere, and it may be possible for some of us to train and test our vehicles outside (or backyard if you are really lucky). Otherwise, we can always settle down, with a cup of tea, and collaborate remotely.
There is a lot of cool work to be done! Whether you are learning about robotics for the first time, diving deep into your own AI model, or experimenting with a simulator, everyone is equal and welcome in this space.
To help orient any newcomers:
Many of us use a framework called Donkey Car (www.donkeycar.com), which is a great open source, well-documented framework for hacking RC cars and making them drive autonomously.
If you don't have a car, you can do almost all of the software stuff virtually using the Donkey Car Simulator!
