Merkle DAGs: Efficient graphs for P2P networks
The Peer To Peer space is really busy these days, and Merkle DAGs (Directed Acyclic Graphs) are the core data type it's all based on. This month Georgiy Shibaev is going to take us through what a Merkle DAG is and how they're used to make distributed P2P applications like Bittorent and cryptocurrencies. See you there!

    What we're about

"We are all connected" has never been more true. The famous "six degrees of separation" has been revised down to four, and "connected" data is straining databases everywhere. In this meetup we are going to be exploring the world of connected data: collecting it, storing it, analyzing it.

If you are interested in Social Network Analysis, Link Analysis, Graph Databases and the theory and practice surrounding them, this is the place.

    All levels welcome!
