Object based remote-sensing presentation: habitat map of the Tanzanian nearshore

Els will present to us her project dealing with object based remote sensing.

She is building a habitat map of the Tanzanian nearshore areas using satellite imagery. By developing rule sets in eCognition (object based remote sensing specialized software) and applying them to a composite of Landsat 8 images, her goal is to identify the different types of substrate along the coastline.
