Otter Tail Outdoors

Our August hike on the 31st , 3:00 PM, will be at the Seven Sisters 1.0-mile loop trail near Evansville, Minnesota. Seven Sisters Preserve is the notable ridge on the north side of the road, three to four miles east of Ashby, along the shore of Lake Christina on Hwy 78. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 30 min to complete. The parking is rather small, so carpooling is encouraged. After the hike, you are welcome to join us for a meal at the Melby Outpost near Evansville. Here's the Google Map link to Seven Sisters:

Due to the Labor Day weekend, we are moving our meeting to the second Monday of the month this time around. We'll return to the regular first Monday schedule in October.
We invite you to join us for our September chapter meeting, and see where your talents and abilities can fit into expanding the trail in our area. Can you bake cookies for an event? Can you wield a paintbrush or a hammer? Are you artistic? Are you good with people? Can you recurit others? Can you host an NCT booth at a local event? Whatever abilities you have, you can put them to good use for the North Country Trail in our area, and we'd love to have you with us! :-)
