Welcome to Out! Riverside. Our Meet-up group’s mission is to build a stronger, more cohesive LGBTQI community in Riverside and adjacent communities by creating social opportunities, facilitating social interaction, and encouraging other members to do the same.
Out! Riverside is the largest Meet-up group of its kind in the Greater Riverside region and that success is due in large part to the active participation of people just like you!
With close to 1,000 members, you can either RSVP to someone’s Meet-up or, just as fun, schedule one of your own. Yes, that’s right! You can schedule your very own Meet-ups. In fact, we encourage it! The more Meet-ups there are, the more to choose from. You can do a one-time event or a regularly scheduled one. It’s really up to you. So whether you just want to hang out for a cup of coffee, go on hike, have a game night, have gals’ or guys’ night out on the town, go for it! Just submit a suggested meetup, and we'll get in touch with you.
And no problem if you just want to invite “_______” (fill in the blank with L, G, B, T, Q or I – or all of the above!). We understand that finding friends who share your specific orientation or gender identity and interests is important. And we value that.
No fuss. No planning. Just chill out with a cup of morning Joe at Riverside's hipster coffee spot: Back to the Grind. Held the third Saturday of every month, it's a great opportunity to meet other members of the local LGBT community.
Come by yourself, bring a friend, or make a friend while nursing your warm cup of coffee and mouth-watering cinnamon roll. What's not to love? Hard wood floors, weathered red-brick walls, book shelves for the bookish, and the aroma of brewing coffee beans caressing your eyes with Riverside's morning sun. Bring your lovable warm self 'cause coffee won't be the same without you!
Look for the little "LGBT Meet-up" tent cards on our tables and get the socializing started!
It's the funnest, warmest, and nicest group of people you'll ever meet! Hope to see you there!
NOTE: CASH ONLY - Back to the Grind doesn't accept credit cards. (See previous posts for pics. All ages welcome. Age of past attendees is from 35 - 65.)
