Change is a constant, and those of us who practice meditation know that a great deal of our "non-effort" in practice is about learning how to ride this truth about the world. Join us this week as we contemplate how we're "sitting with it." How have the shifts in our world affected us as meditators, as LGBTQI people, as humans? With how much and what kind of action - of any sort- should we engage? What is the extent of our effect on the world? Bring your thoughts, experiences, and concerns about the world to our gathering on Sunday and connect with fellow meditators and travelers on the path as we explore together.

The Shambhala LGBT Meditation Group offers a safe space for those who identify as queer, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, or questioning to come together to explore the practice of meditation and support each other in community. Previous meditation experience is not required and basic instruction will be provided.

The evening will begin with sitting meditation, followed by a brief introduction to the topic with time for discussion. Join us afterwards for a community celebration in the community room.
