--UPDATE--MEETING LOCATION--DRIVING DIRECTIONS--

We will meet at the main entrance parking lot on Butterfield Road and Main Dr. You can go to the forest preserve website, click on the Butterfield parking lot icon on this interactive map and enter your starting address for exact driving directions: http://www.dupageforest.org/Blackwell_Map.aspx

Hikers can enjoy more than 6 miles of turf and limestone trails, including a convenient route to the Illinois Prairie Path. Trails around the McKee Marsh area feature two observation decks, a bird blind, and signs that describe the history and ecological significance of the marsh.

1. Drink plenty of water and make sure to bring water and snacks or a pack lunch
2. Insect repellent
3. Sun protection: Hats, sunscreen/sunblock, sunglasses
4. Shoes: hiking shoes or comfortable tennis shoes
5. Clothing: comfortable clothing
