Cross County Ski Presidents’ Day Weekend

This is an iconic Eileen Greve OCSJ trip back for another year. We stay in Pulaski, NY at the 1880 House, a comfortable “feels like home” accommodation famous with many OCSJ regulars. There is a generous breakfast every morning and hot soup (generous enough for a meal) upon your return after that exhausting day of skiing every afternoon. Many ski options are just a few miles away- both groomed resorts and un-groomed state parks/preserves.

We do not have a reserved block of rooms at a guaranteed price. Each person must reserve their own room. Approximate rate is $79 per person per night, with a discounted rate of $74 per person per night if we are able to reach a minimum level of 10 people on the trip. (this does not include 12 % sales and occupancy tax). No need to pay until your arrival at the 1880 house. Some of the rooms are shared rooms and/or have bath down the hall/shared.

There is a chance that we will be able have a dinner on Saturday, 2/18/23 at the 1880 House. However, we won't know if that's an option or what the menu or cost would be until we get closer to the event. We have done this in the past and always had a great time. Hopefully we'll be able to do it again.

If you want to go, please follow these steps:

1. Call and reserve your room with Linda at the 1880 House. 315 751-6904. You are not on the trip until you also complete steps 2 and 3!

2. Email me - Paul Dice - at pfd701@comcast.net to let me know you have a room and the dates you have reserved. Please Also include your cell phone number.

3. Click the red “attend” button at the bottom of this post. If the red button says “join” you are not yet a member of this cross Country MeetUp site. Click the red join button and follow the prompts so you can finish signing up for the trip. All participants must be paid members of the Outdoor Club of South Jersey.

If you know you want to go I suggest you book a room ASAP. It is unclear how long rooms will be available. You can cancel up to the date you arrive without charge.
