Walk around lake balboa to japanese garden

Dont park in the parking lot for the japanese garden since the parking lot closes early. Park in woodley park

This walk has 2 parts. It is optional if you want to walk around balboa lake afterwards. First we will go to the japanese garden. It costs $5. Then we will go on a 4 1/2 miles round trip walk around lake balboa.

This is easy flat walk. I havent lead this walk before so i will be learning it. Shouldnt be difficult since we are in the middle of the valley.

If you want to check out a cool nearby restaurant, it is called 94 Aero Squadron. It is modeled after a bombed out french chateu. It has a WW 1 plane next to it. It next to the van nuys airport.Hence, you will have good view of planes taking off.
