AGLA & the ICWDC will once again co-present the 5th annual Seizures are a Drag event, co-hosted by Empress IV Muffy Blake Stephyns & Miss Gay Arlington 2018 Seeina B Diamond to raise awareness and funds for the Epilepsy Foundation of Virginia. Suggested donation of $10 at the door, which gets you 10 raffle tickets. The social starts at 6pm and the drag show starts at 7pm. All proceeds go to the Epilepsy Foundation of Virginia.
Are you interested in being active in the local community? Sit in on the next Board meeting and meet the leadership team. We will meet on the patio and enjoy the dinner special. This is a great way to learn more about the organization and to be part of this grassroots organization. You can be an AGLA member regardless of where you reside. AGLA is a strong beacon for equality in Arlington, Virginia. It's an inclusive nonpartisan 501(c)(3) nonprofit open to all lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer or questioning (LGBTQ) people and straight allies. It provides fun social activities, builds relationships with elected officials, and works with civic groups on community service. Get ready for the LGBTQ+ Community Social! We will gather at the Embassy Row Hotel's unique and spacious Station Kitchen & Cocktails lounge. It's a fun place to gather. You are welcome regardless of where you live. Bring friends and meet new people. This is the place to be that evening. Embassy Row Hotel is located two blocks away from Dupont Circle Metro in Washington DC. It flies the rainbow flag!
