Elmdale Trail @ South Mountain Reservation 2C5(H)

We will hike on the Elmdale trail. Built in the 1890s it's one of the oldest and most scenic trails in the Reservation. The hike is about 5 miles, at a moderate pace. This will include a few uphill sections. We will have lunch. Sneakers are OK but hiking shoes or boots are preferred. Please bring water, snacks and/or a light lunch. This is an amazing and beautiful area to hike amidst an urban landscape in Essex County NJ. Please meet at the Millburn Public Library Parking lot..200 Glen Ave. Public Transportation, NJ Transit train to Millburn
