What we're about
Upcoming events (4+)
Happy Hour pricing until 7:00 pm. Bring your own paper/pad and pencil/pen. Mask optional.
STAY HOME IF YOU ARE NOT FEELING WELL. REMEMBER TO CANCEL YOUR RSVP!!!
Please respect the RSVP process. Reservations end just before noon, at which time a headcount MUST BE given to Tailgater's. They arrange seating for us. For 12 or less, they arrange 2 or 3 tables together (4 per table as dictated by the headcount).
They rely on us to give them an accurate headcount, and they treat us well because we make every attempt to be reliable.
Contact Stu after 12:00 pm to ask if you can be added. Thank you. [masked]
The policies for Team Trivia are as follows: We will have one table for all. Also, NO SEAT SAVING ALLOWED. Seating is on a first come, first choice of seats basis, and we don't need to hurt anyone's feelings by directing people to a different seat.
We shall cooperate as a "team" to reach a consensus on answers. Team Trivia is both a social event and a contest, but please kill the conversation when the moderator is speaking.
If we win enough Tailgaters gift coupons, then it's free pizzas for all to share on a later TT night.
Come join us for breakfast with good friends and interesting conversation.
Join us to eat first and then play board games that are very easy to learn. In mid-September, 2021, the owner said to me that his restaurant is not a "rec room". He expects you to order food and/or drinks so that giving us the room for the night is profitable for the venue. I'm sure everyone agrees that it's a completely reasonable request/demand from a restaurant owner!!!
We would like to keep this venue, so please make every effort to eat/drink if you come (we're told $10 before tax, etc), and to cancel before the Thursday 5 pm cutoff so that Stu can provide an accurate headcount. As with most well run restaurants, LTG wants to have an idea of patron counts so it can staff accordingly.
RSVP but comment that you'll be coming for games but not to dine ("Games only" comment) if that is the case. The headcount we are required to give to Lou's by 5 pm the day before is for diners, so please be considerate to the venue and our relationship therewith.
We are considering collecting a $5 cash payment from gamers/non-diners, which will be paid to the restaurant. We want to keep the venue happy, and would hope that $5 for a fun night of games isn't too much to ask.
We will eat from 5 to 6:15 pm, the staff will clear the tables, and then LET THE GAMES BEGIN!!! We usually have lots of games to choose from including Sequence, Rummikub, Taboo, Mexican Train, trivia games, Five Crowns, Phase 10 and more.
Let's be gracious and make sure no one is left out of playing!!!
You don't need to, but if there's a game you'd like us to play, please bring it.
We do not play for money, only bragging rights. So come have fun, meet and enjoy friendly people and enjoy a meal together. The food is pretty good.
Attendees assume full responsibility regarding coronavirus and all other risks. We recommend wearing a mask when not eating/drinking.
Call Stu with any Qs, to be a late addition for dinner or just games, or other related issues. [masked]
Let's start the Sun Bowl Fall Concert Series off right by welcoming the Uncle Click Band.
Music and dancing starts at 6:30 PM. Food trucks are available up to 1 1/2 hours before the music begins. You need to be accompanied by a Sun City resident to enter, so we'll all meet before finding our seats.
What to bring: A lawn chair! A jacket if weather is cool. Anything extra you want to eat or drink. There are food trucks with sandwiches, soft drinks, popcorn and ice cream, but the lines can sometimes be long, so a snack isn't a bad idea. Call me if you have any trouble at[masked]
