It is easy to write slow R code, simply because there are so many ways to solve the same problem using R. But with a few simple, though not always obvious, tweaks you can make your R code fly. Come and find out how!

Jelena Ilic is a Particle Physicist turned Data Scientist. She likes writing software frameworks in R. She works at Mango Solutions, a data science services company, who provide complex analysis solutions, consulting, training, and application development for some of the most well-known companies in the world.
