Our normal format :

This months sessions are:
Steph Middleton - Building a Robust SSIS Pipeline
SSIS is a simple concept - it takes data from a source and puts it in a destination. But what if you can't trust your data? In this session we will look at some simple ways to build resilience into your SSIS packages making it easier to track errors in your data and monitor what's happened.
Stuart Moore - Index Consolidation
Have you inherited a database with too many indexes? Are your write operations spending more time updating indexes rather than your data? I'll be going through what makes a sensible indexing strategy, and what to do when someone hasn't followed a similar strategy
(This topic was suggested by one of our members, so please keep these coming. If I can't do it, it's alomost certain I can find someone who can!)
But, not necessarily in that order!
And there's always the chance of a visit to a local hostelry afterwards
You MUST register on meetup before attending. We have to provide a list of names to Capital One security, and if your name is not on the list they won't allow you access to the building. There is also a good chance they will ask for ID, so please have something official with your name on it please.
Food is generally pizza and we go 50/50 meat/veggie. If you have any special requirements please let us know so we can work something out for you.
