Join Us For A THANKSGIVING VEGAN POTLUCK PICNIC!

Let's celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday together with our friends and families in a beautiful park setting. Share your favorite potluck dishes and great conversation. Feel free to invite others!

In order to accommodate both vegetarians and vegans, PLEASE BRING A DISH THAT CONTAINS NO ANIMAL PRODUCTS (no meat, poultry, fish, eggs, dairy, or honey). Visit www.vegweb.com (http://www.vegweb.com/) for ideas & recipes or just type "vegan recipes" into your internet browser! Please bring a note with a list of the ingredients for your dish, and let everyone know what you're bringing in your RSVP comments.

We will supply paper plates, bowls, cups, napkins, utensils, and bottles of water. If you would like, you're welcome to bring your own plates and utensils in order to have a more environmentally friendly feast. There is a volleyball / badminton net & basketball courts near the pavilion. Please feel free to bring frisbees, games, blankets, bicycles, etc.

Please note: There are 8 picnic tables in the pavilion. Many of these tables will be taken to place the food buffet so although there is seating for at least 32 people, seating will be limited. We may easily have 50 people or more at this event at one time. PLEASE BRING BLANKETS & CHAIRS TO INSURE YOU HAVE A SEAT AT THIS WONDERFUL EVENT.

PARK RULES:

• The Park closes at 5:30, so try to arrive early.

• Dogs are WELCOME on a leash up to 6 feet long.

• Alcoholic beverages ARE allowed.

• Fireworks are NOT allowed.

• Amplified music is NOT allowed. (a small radio is OK).

ENTRY FEE:

There is no entrance fee to this park, but there will be a contribution jar to help cover the cost of the pavilion ($165) & supplies ($50++). THE SUGGESTED CONTRIBUTION IS: $5.oo PER ADULT.

From I-95 or The Florida Turnpike:

Glades Road exit

Drive west on Glades Road

Turn right at South County Regional Park

Drive straight to the Pond Apple Pavilion on the left (Approx halfway between Glades Rd & Yamato Rd. Just south of Kimberly Blvd)

From The Sawgrass Expressway:

Exit 18B to State Road 7 / Route 441

Drive north on State Road 7

Turn left (west) on Glades Road

Turn right at South County Regional Park

Drive straight to the Pond Apple Pavilion on the left (Approx halfway between Glades Rd & Yamato Rd. Just south of Kimberly Blvd)
