During the last 15 years, Pedro has managed multiple teams in Banking, Supply Chain, and Operations, and also planned and coordinated the construction and migration of thousands of Reports to Power BI, SSRS, and other BI tools.
He is the Co-Founder of the Power BI Portugal Meetup group and the Porto Power BI User Group, Invited University Lecturer, and active speaker at events like Power Platform World Tour, SQL Saturday, Porto Data, and local meetups.

Second Speaker - James Dales - Power BI Map Magic - Make amazing maps with Power BI

Liven up your Power BI reports with spatial analytics. In this session we'll examine what options are available for creating maps in Power BI; which visuals are suited to which kinds of maps. We'll take a deep dive into more advanced themes: how to add images to your maps, draw lines and create choropleth maps. The session will be back to back demos showing all of these different techniques.

James Dales is the Global Capability Lead for Power BI at Avanade and is a Microsoft FastTrack Recognised Solution Architect. As a Microsoft Data Platform MVP he is the co-leader of the London Power BI user group. In 2019 he became the first member of the Power BI Contributors Program, working alongside the Microsoft engineering team to build new functionality into the product itself. He has a keen interest in spatial analytics and is the author of the Icon Map custom visual.
