What we're about
Our group fosters community and meetups for card players to enjoy their games with people that want to enjoy their games. Meet nearby players and enjoy friendly competition. Play old favorites and try out new ones.
We can play and teach well known card games like Spades (http://www.pagat.com/boston/spades.html), Hearts (http://www.pagat.com/reverse/hearts.html), Euchre (http://www.pagat.com/euchre/euchre.html), Bid Whist (http://www.pagat.com/boston/bidwhist.html), Pinochle (http://www.pagat.com/marriage/pindd.html), Cribbage (http://www.pagat.com/adders/crib6.html), Big Two (http://www.pagat.com/climbing/bigtwo.html), and Tarot (http://www.pagat.com/tarot/), as well as similar tile games like Mah-Jong (http://www.pagat.com/rummy/mahjong.html) and Dominos (http://www.pagat.com/tile/wdom/partnership.html), but our house of cards offers many more games than just these! Don't miss Tichu (http://www.abacusspiele.biz/?m=spiele&action=download&pdf=176), Durak (http://www.pagat.com/beating/durak.html), Doppelkopf (http://www.pagat.com/schafk/doko.html), or Mü (http://www.riograndegames.com/uploads/Game/Game_236_gameRules.pdf), either.
If it has a deck with suits and/or ranks, then it fits our meetup. The only exceptions there are Poker and Blackjack: not because we are against playing them, but because they already have better spaces and support elsewhere.
We run a weekly general Cards Night at rotating locations, which you are welcome to attend weekly, monthly, or however else it fits into your schedule. The organizer team would also welcome people running extra periodic game nights for their favorite games. Let us know if you'd be interested!
