NOTE: This MeetUp is for people with data that they're working on, or people who want to see what data other people are working on, or people who want/have tips for working their QS-related data. If you are more of a results-focused person, be sure to attend our regular Show and Tell MeetUps.
The last Co-Op meetup we had went so well, we’re doing it again!
If you track some kind of data about your life and are trying to make sense of it, join us during this open time and bring your data and a computer with you.
You can work on it in the company of other, like-minded self-trackers who are working on their own data, and get (and maybe even give) help as we all figure out what kinds of tools, processes, and techniques help turn mountains of data into information that is useful to you.
End up with amazing insights or an interesting story? Consider presenting at the QS Show and Tell meeting every other month.
Topics that arose last time:
· D3 and data visualization ( http://d3js.org/ )
· Wolfram Alpha and analysis of meditation data
· Scraping Nike FuelBand data with Firefox
And, of course, people brought dozens of projects with them to work on, and many ideas were shared in small groups.
