PDX Video Tech 2019 (3)

We are excited to have Zachary Cava speak and AWS Elemental host Portland (PDX) Video Tech as well as welcome the Dash IF to Portland.

Zachary Cava, Video Platform Architect at Hulu, will talk about how they are approaching the scalability challenge of streaming live video to millions of concurrent users, with specific DASH manifests optimizations (the "patch update mechanism") and a new ad insertion paradigm called Server-Guided Ad Insertion (SGAI). We are happy to host Zachary after his two great talks at the Fraunhofer FOKUS Media Web Symposium and Demuxed conferences earlier this year!
