November meetup (#1, 2018)

During the meetup two topics will be presented: "Component based frontend development. Using atomic design in Drupal 8." by Johan Voeten, Senior Frond-End Developer @ Colours and "On JAM Stack Architectures" by Ilya Pukhalski, Digital architect.

18.15: Doors open

18.30 - 19.15:
"Component based frontend development. Using atomic design in Drupal 8."
The talk will give an insight on how a design system can be used to build frontend components that can directly be used in Drupal 8. Backend developers can start working on the implementation and serving the data while a frontend developer starts on implementing the design and building templates. No more copy and pasting of HTML and no more double work.

Ilya is going to explore all the cornerstones of JAM (https://jamstack.org/) approach to websites: git-centric workflow, markdown as a database, componentized JS-architecture, security, deployment, tooling.
