This month we're holding another virtual meetup, this time with a talk from Junior Grossi on Micro-services in PHP.
Using a micro-service architecture is completely possible with PHP. PHP has improved as a language and ecosystem to the point that robust micro-services are not only feasible, but actually beneficial. We'll dig into some the concepts and technologies that help us to create well-developed and reliable services.
This talk will cover concepts like DDD, Clean Architecture, Command Handler pattern and also the usage of Swoole as the http server, so no NGINX is needed for our micro-service architecture.
About the speaker:
Junior is an engineer with more than 15 years of experience in PHP. A Brazilian currently living in Ireland with family. A stutterer conference speaker. Passioned about code quality, tests and refactoring legacy code.
