First Steps with Event Sourcing (using Prooph)

Details
We are delighted to offer you a new speaker on a very interesting subject. This time Gabriel Somoza from Belgium will join us to tell you all about Event Sourcing and CQRS with Prooph (http://getprooph.org/).
The lecture:
In this interactive talk Gabriel shares with us a simple app he has been building in his spare time as a way of getting hands-on experience with Event Sourcing.
He will show how he modelled his domain using DDD principles, how he applied Event Sourcing and CQRS using the Prooph framework, Doctrine and PostgreSQL, and how he hooked that up to Apigility to provide a RESTful API.
About Gabriel Somoza:
Gabriel Somoza is a Belgium-based PHP Architect at Strategery Solutions – an e-commerce boutique in Belgium that specializes in building high-quality custom-built web stores.
He keeps up-to-date with latest web and e-commerce development best practices and trends such as domain-driven design (DDD), event sourcing, continuous integration & deployment (CI/CD), unit testing, and more.
