Meetup #8 - DotKernel 3 Official Launch Event

Meetup #8, will focus on DotKernel 3 by Apidemia.

Full Stack Frameworks are dead.

It's the end of framework silos and a major change in the direction of development of Enterprise PHP based systems.

An end to saying "I'm a ZF developer," or "I'm a Laravel developer," and a return to, "I'm a PHP developer."

Following  Zend Framework 3 initiative, we are releasing DotKernel 3.

DotKernel is a collection of PSR-7 Middleware applications, built on top of Zend Expressive microframework.

It is composed of a set of custom and extended Zend Framework components.

Agenda

1. Why PHP is hyggeligt

2. PSR-7 and Middleware

3. Full stack framework vs. Microframeworks

4. DotKernel 3

Speakers

Tiberiu Popa, ZCE, DotKernel Project Lead

Gabi Suciu, ZCE, Apidemia Staff Software Engineer

Julian Somesan, ZCE, CTO Apidemia Inc
