    What we're about

Everybody can be healthy and fit! Even if you suffer from an injury or are curvy.

Are you full figured or suffer from an injury?

Would you like to help yourself feel good by taking Pilates classes?

Are you uncomfortable going to large gyms because you feel that you may not be able to keep up with the rest of the class?

This group is specially organized for individuals who either suffer from injuries or are curvy and who are interested in taking Pilates classes. We will be offering Classic Mat classes where adjustments are made to accommodate injuries and size. All classes will be custom designed for you.

What makes this class different from all other mat classes is that we have the private use of a full service Pilates studio and all the equipment necessary that will help you succeed.

All members will have the opportunity to experience a better sense of wellbeing by taking Pilates classes in this non judgemental environment. We will also schedule special support Meetup groups. During these special events, we will have the opportunity to share our feelings, talk about special topics and socialize.

All classes will take place in Bodywork Pilates studio, centrally located on the Post Road in Westport. Bodywork is a zen like, a safe and private studio. You will never be asked to do something that makes you feel uncomfortable.

I started this group because I am curvy. I feel healthier due to my participation in Pilates. I would like to give others, like myself, the space and the opportunity to feel good about themselves. I am a certified Pilates instructor, trained in classical Pilates, Stott Method and therapeutic Pilates work. I have been teaching at Bodywork, The Center for Survivorship, the Westport Weston YMCA, the Norwalk and Westport Senior Centers, New York Sports, Saugatuck Rowing Club as well as other fitness organizations for 12 years.

Please contact me at: pam.pilates@gmail.com if you like to ask me any questions.
