What we're about

Aloha! Are you interested in trying the fastest growing water sport in the world? Are you already an avid stand up paddle boarder? Regardless of your skill level, please join us for fun, fitness and adventure on the Intracoastal, local lakes and ocean environments in and around Palm Beach County. For those who are new to the sport, we offer Fabulous First Timer meetups where you can learn how to stand up paddle board in a safe, flat water environment with an ACA certified SUP instructor. We also offer board rentals for those who haven't yet purchased a paddle board. Kayak rentals are also available.

The Lake Worth Lagoon gives us lots of opportunities for great paddling. It is a special area of the Intracoastal Waterway that is very wide from Jupiter in the North to Boynton Beach in the South. Munyon Island, the Bingham Islands, the Snook Islands are just some examples of some natural mangrove island environments that are here to enjoy within the Lake Worth Lagoon. We also have some great local lakes that give us more opportunities for paddling such as Lake Ida, Lake Okeeheelee and Lake Osborne. And don't forget paddlesurfing and ocean paddling at any number of locations along the Palm Beach County coastline! Racing and paddleboard yoga meetups round out some of the many experiences you can have on a stand up paddleboard while meeting new friends!

Come paddle and explore the amazing water environments here in Palm Beach County while becoming more fit and connecting with new friends that share your passion for paddleboarding!

BTW, we appreciate watermen and waterwomen from all of the other paddlesports. If you or a friend wants to join us in a kayak or canoe or one-man outrigger, it's not problem. The most important thing is just getting out there on the water and meeting new like-minded friends! Mahalo (thanks) for checking out our meetup group.

Paddle at Limestone Creek Natural Area on The Loxahatchee River

This paddle launches from the parking lot OF THE KAYAK LAUNCH for the Limestone Creek Natural Area. The Limestone Creek Natural Area is a little island of wilderness in the middle of the Jupiter. We'll explore the Southwest Fork of the Loxahatchee River as it heads towards the Intracoastal Waterway. We may check out the waterways near the Delaware Scrub Natural Area. Another great place to hide from busy boat traffic!!! We'll head back with the tide towards the parking area once we're done exploring for the day. This section of the Loxahatchee River is very green and pretty and the houses along the way are further back from the shore. It's a fun paddle where we will check out a couple of side passages along the way. The Jupiter Fire Station for the address because it's the closest public bldg to the parking lot for the Limestone Creek Natural Area Kayak Launch. If you need to rent a paddleboard, let me know when you RSVP. It's $25 for members. If you haven't paddled before, please plan on arriving a half hour or so earlier for a lesson so you can keep up with the rest of the group. For the lesson and the board rental, it's $35 total. Wondering what to do if the weather is questionable? I check multiple detailed weather and radar forecasts. I don't cancel until the day of the event because quite often the forecast will change overnight. I also look carefully at wind speed & direction vs our location. I will cancel the event about 2 hours before event start time if I know the wind will not cooperate based on the location or if there's lightning or radar has a big thunderstorm heading that way. The whole idea is to have fun we won't go out there unless I think we'll all have a nice morning on the water. See you at the Limestone Creek Natural Area

Race Training Paddle at Juno Park

Juno Park/Aunt Hattie's

This paddle is more of a workout paddle. You can also look at it as a race training paddle event. Doesn't matter if you are planning to race this year or not. It will be a nice workout. I'm bringing out the raceboard and paddling at a consistent pace. We're paddling either to the Donald Ross Bridge or if participants are up to it; we'll paddle to Juno Dunes Natural Area. It will be a 4.5 to 5 mile paddle. You don't have to have a touring board or racing board, that's OK. If you need to rent a board; it's $25 for members and their guests. FYI, this paddle is not for first timer paddlers. Try something different! Hope to see you there!
