What we're about

This is a group for anyone interested in cycling. All skill levels are welcome for easy local rides and possibly planned cycling excursions to explore Florida. Speed is not the goal, but to exercise and enjoy the ride while "Shiftin' Gears".
We started this group to meet other outdoor and cycling enthusiasts. Rides are approximately 2 hours on Saturday mornings with a start time of 8:30 am. Meet up locations vary weekly and will be posted here on Sunday. Most rides will average 15 miles. Looking forward to exploring our communities with you.

East Central Regional Rail Trail - Edgewater

East Central Regional Rail Trail Cow Creek Road Trailhead

We are going to try the East Central Regional Rail Trail again … but this time we will start at the northern end, just off the 95 Edgewater Exit. This is an awesome paved, off road trail that we love and we thought it would be fun to see the "other" end. The trail runs 46 miles, so for those of you that like to push it for speed you can let loose. Those that like a more leisurely pace can do that as well. As a group we will not be riding the full 46 miles, more like 20 round trip...maybe. :-) We won't judge the ride by miles but by time spent on the trail. So those of you that want to take off can do so and just meet up with the rest of us at the specified time. We can decide this as a group, but I imagine it will be approximately 3 hours. As always bring plenty of water, sunscreen, bug spray and a snack.
