While the Proof-of-Stake consensus mechanism is gaining indisputable traction and presenting immense possibilities for improvement over PoW, on-chain governance has both its enthusiasts and its skeptics. As the Tezos blockchain is about to undergo the first proposal amendment decided on by on-chain governance, it's important to gain insight into the process and learn more about this novel technology.

Come meet and enjoy an introduction about the Tezos project by its founder Arthur Breitman, presenting the specificities of the Tezos blockchain, why they’re relevant, and some thoughts about the future possible improvements of the protocol.

A panel of actors involved in the Tezos ecosystem will then discuss about the relevance and mechanisms of on-chain governance, and it’s efficiency when widely different actors with non-aligned incentives are evolving in the same environment.

Keynote:
Introduction and Future Amendments to Tezos - Arthur Breitman

Embedded Governance in Tezos: Implications for differently Incentivised Actors of the network
Moderated by: Pierre Laurent - Co-Founder @ Atka
