Why: enjoy a stimulating richness of connection that transcends culture, and opens new possibilities.

You probably know what it is like to really trust someone, and to have that trust returned. You may also have worked in environments where trust was lacking, or betrayed.

My bets are that you prefer the first situation.

Trust is a powerful word and a powerful emotion with far reaching personal and financial implications.

Numerous studies show that the economic success of countries is closely correlated to the level of trust between strangers. In countries where people do not trust strangers the economy suffers. Where trust is stronger it thrives. The current stock market crisis comes as much from a collapse of trust as from any other factor.

Looking into our brains trust also has set of biochemical markers associated with it and the hormone oxytocin. Intriguingly oxytocin also links the biology of trust with that of lust. But those chemistry lessons are for another meetup?

Between the movement of money across the markets, and neuro-transmitters across synapses is the world of experience that we navigate daily. In this the world questions below, which are crucial for good business, and happy relationships, will be the topic of tonight's meetup.

What does trust mean to you?

Is your definition of trust the same as the important people in your life?

What happens when you betray someone?s trust ? or they betray yours?

How do you create more trust?

If you are interested in bringing more trust into the world, starting with your own life, then this will be an evening well spent. It is a small investment towards something greater, and we will be honoured if you decide to bring your intelligence to the subject.
