Hi all badminton fans (and early risers....)

There's another Badminton Meet-Up planned this coming Sunday at 10am until midday...

As previously we're joining in with a French club to share 4 courts... although we seem to be gradually taking over, and driving the French away to play other places... LOL...

The numbers are strictly limited to 12 people..... So book early to avoid disapointment, but please turn-up if you do reply 'yes', or cancel your 'yes' asap if you really cant make it, otherwise somebody else will miss out... If you don't turn-up and dont manage to cancel before 8pm Saturday then I'm sorry but you'll still be charged 5?... Does that sound a little fascist.... I think the power has gone to my head....

There are people of ALL levels, so dont worry if you're a little rusty, or even if you are a complete beginner..

You will need your own racquet though, although mine is available for rent for one pint of Guinness :-) They sell fairly decent racquets for around 20? at Go Sport or Decathlon.

At midday, there is (probably) the opportunity for people to carry on playing a few games.... So please still come even if you are running a little bit late...

As previously, afterwards, most of us will head across to the Cork & Cavan - a delightful little Irish Pub on the Canal St Martin, which serves a great pint of Guinness, Full Irish Breakfasts, Meat Pies, Jacket Potatoes, and Pizzas...

Hopefully see you all on Sunday..

Jon

PS. If there are any of you that are free during the week there is also the opportunity to play Thursday & Friday lunchtimes.... Let me know....

PPS. Good Luck to the Irish this weekend
