Trump wasted no time deleting the climate change section of the White House website and scrubbing "science" from the mission of the EPA's Office of Science and Technology.Climate denier Scott Pruitt is at the head of EPA, and he doesn't think carbon dioxide is "a primary contributor to global warming..."Trump eliminated Obama's rule to limit methane emissions, a major greenhouse gas, from drilling and fracking on public lands.

The new administration is poised to roll back more policies to address climate change and cut the EPA budget by as much as 25%Marching is important — it demonstrates to elected officials at all levels of government that these issues matter to the people who vote for them. It's also an empowering experience to be surrounded by people power and positive energy, and a great opportunity to bring new people into our movement!

But we know that there's a lot more that goes into making lasting change at the policy level. That's why Food & Water Watch/Florida (, while helping to make the People's Climate March happen, is working hard to ban fracking in Maryland and in Florida this spring, and fighting Trump's ongoing attacks on our environment and public health at the federal level. Food & Water Watch will be there, spreading the message that in order to fight climate change, we need to ban fracking, keep fossil fuels in the ground and make a swift and just transition to clean, renewable energy.

Join us on April 29th at 8:30A at (John Chesnut Sr. Park ( Let's march together on our bikes.
