I'm Ian at Peaceful Experience and I can help you to find peace of mind. I can help you learn to meditate and to find peace. Peace is available to everyone!

I can help you to learn to relax, to move beyond your noisy mind and to find the true essence of what you are.

If you are new to meditation, I can help you begin to meditate with a simple and easy meditation; or if you have already begun to meditate I can help you take your practice deeper. The real sign that you are benefiting from meditation is not what we experience in a particular meditation, it is how you feel as you go about our lives. Are we feeling generally more peaceful and relaxed? Are we handling certain every day situations without feeling so stressed and anxious?

Any can join, both beginners and those experienced in meditation alike. I have a free EBook called "What is Meditation?" which describes my approach to meditation.

Walking Meditation

What a lovely way to meditate, simply learning to meditate while we go for a walk. Meditation is often thought to be a sitting down practice however in truth there are standing and moving meditations such as Qigong and Tai Chi. For some people who find it difficult or taxing to sit, these standing or moving meditations can be beneficial as we are no longer struggling with trying to keep still. The benefits from a standing or moving meditation are exactly the same as a seated meditation. ​Once we realise we don't have to sit to meditate we can discover we can meditate whilst we go about our normal lives such as going for a walk. ​ I'm now offering Walking Meditation classes on a monthly basis ​Come along and join me and learn, using a simple technique how to meditate whilst walking.​ We will follow simple techniques while we go for a walk which are easy to learn and will enable you to feel the benefits of meditation in a short space of time. Qigong class

Qigong can be described as a standing meditation and is ideal for people who struggle at times to sit to meditate. Tai Chi is a form of Qigong and can be described as a moving meditation. Qigong (“chi-Kung”) is a traditional Chinese health method that combines slow graceful movements with mental concentration and breathing to increase and balance a person’s vital energy. It has been popularly referred to as Chinese yoga. ​Qi (or chi) is often translated as life energy, referring to energy circulating through the body and Gong (or kung) is often translated as cultivation or work. The two words are combined to describe a practice to cultivate and balance life energy. If you have good Chi, it promotes good health. Come along to try this simple method.
