Punish or reward. Time out or time in. Attachment parenting or not. Let's be honest, we all can feel like we're too busy to think about bringing peacefulness to our family's involved routines. This workshop aims to provide parents the necessary awareness and tools for creating a calm environment while keeping up with busy schedules. 

Straightforward tools that: 1. Will not interfere with your busy schedule. 2. Can be implemented as soon as you go home. After applying these tools, parents will be able to create an atmosphere that nurtures children and helps them feel emotionally healthy and happy. This exclusive event includes the luxury of a glass of wine, warm refreshments and fresh fruit. The workshop is interactive and will be tailored based on the interests of the participants. Please arrive at 6:45 PM to check in and set up. 

About the facilitators: 

Dr. Lisa Manuelian is a life, career & relationship coach specializing in personal growth and family dynamics for over a decade. In her practice, she consults and coaches in integrating mindfulness while guiding individuals to successfully make changes in their lives, navigate life transitions and create work/life balance. Dr. Manuelian has spent much of her career working as a clinical psychology graduate professor, teaching and training students to assist others in finding more compassion, self-awareness and acceptance within self and others. She is a mother of an 11 year old daughter and 6 year old son and understands the difficulty of balancing work/family/community life. She is a firm believer in practicing mindful parenting as she personally can relate to how it creates peace within the family unit. 

Shakeh Haroutiounian is a mother, an educational consultant, and a parent coach. She has taught in public and private schools and holds a Master's Degree in Education. In her role as the Director of Education at Axia Learning, she has helped parents approach their children's learning and education with less anxiety and more peacefulness for over fifteen years. She regularly presents parent education workshops on "Happier School Nights" to provide parents with the tools to reduce the stress of homework and learning for their children and themselves. As a mother, Shakeh practices conscious parenting principles in supporting his son’s emotional growth and well-being.
