PebbleBE Meetup 4: JavaScript edition (Rocky.js + Clay deep-dive)
Details
Write watchfaces in JavaScript. ⌚️ Define offline config pages for apps. ⚡️ Let's dive into Pebble's new JavaScript dev tools.
Hi Pebblers! Hope you had a great summer. We have a lot to catch up on since we last met: Pebble 2, Time 2, Pebble Core, Rocky.js, Clay... oh my! The folks in Redwood City have been busy supplying us developers with all kinds of new toys.
We'll be taking a closer look at Pebble's new JavaScript-based frameworks. These are super accessible even for people who haven't developed for Pebble before, so anyone can join in and learn with us, no experience required! Also, regulars: feel free to bring some friends. 😉 As always, we'll have some neat Pebble swag available and you might just take home a sweet new piece of hardware!
Line-up (starts at 19:30, doors open at 19:00):
• Dries Oeyen (developer of Commute (https://apps.getpebble.com/en_US/application/564f706e86b141be60000081)): developing a watchface in JavaScript with Rocky.js
• Jeroen De Gendt (developer of HealthView (https://apps.getpebble.com/en_US/application/577527d3ba2fe5a0c1000599) and Voice2Timeline (https://apps.getpebble.com/en_US/application/561f9188bcb7ac903a00005b)): integrating an offline configuration screen with Clay.
We hope you'll join us! Please RSVP so we can accommodate everyone and bring enough drinks. See you soon!
