What we're about

The invitation is to relax and to find an escape during these days of confinement; and to make our minds fly to unknown places by discussing readings from Latin America. The readings of STORIES, POETRY AND CHRONICLES will take place twice a week, in one and half hour session. They have been chosen for those who wish to improve their written and oral Spanish language skills (intermediate and advanced levels), encouraging conversation around the themes touched upon in the readings themselves, and thus learn a little more about the different cultures that make up the always confusing, but generous and unknown Latin AmericaIt is not mandatory to attend every session as each reading is independent of the others. Remember, they have been designed for the sole purpose of staying active and productive during these days of confinement, and to talk and discuss them with people who share your same passion for reading and love for the Spanish language.

Dear readers, the table is served...

Sinópsis:
Situated in rural life during the Mexican Revolution, its protagonist, "Tita" has the strange power to transfer all her emotions (passion, love, pain, loneliness) into the dishes she herself cooks, producing unexpected effects on her diners. The reason is very simple, since she was very young the protagonist had learned that the ingredients are not the most important thing to prepare a good avocado, but the love with which it is prepared.
