The Human Microbiome and Holiday Potluck
Register at Join your Permaculture Woodinville friends (and make new ones) as we celebrate the holidays, reminisce about the past year and look forward to the next one. This potluck dinner will focus on getting to know each other a little better, along with a special guest presenter, Carrie Siadak, talking about your internal microbiome. Carrie is a Certified Fermentationist and organizer of "Kraut, Kimchi and More". She studied the art and science of fermentation under Summer Bock and is also a Functional Medicine Health coach. You may also remember her wonderful presentations at our Fall Fermentation Festival. We thought that since the holidays are a time for feasting, it would be appropriate to learn more about how to maintain a healthy gut biome and how that helps you maintain better overall health for yourself. William of Box Truck Tiny House will also be here to show some of the latest renovations to his truck. Schedule: 6:15 – 6:45 Meet and greet and Box Truck Tiny House viewing 6:45 – 7:15 Potluck dinner start 7:15 – 7:40 Microbiome presentation 7:50 – 8:30 Dinner and sharing continues So bring a potluck dish (labeled with ingredients), your permaculture experiences to share and your holiday spirit and join us!
