We're a welcoming, inspiring group of permaculture enthusiasts who inhabit the northwest and northeast edge spaces around Seattle, including Sammamish and Snohomish Valleys. We share common interests and resources, host regular events, activities and classes, usually at 21 Acres in Woodinville, and operate as a 501(c)7 non-profit social club.

Fermenting Foods for the Holidays

So yummy in fact, you can serve them for your holiday meals? Come join Carrie Siadak as she guides you in a hands on workshop in making ferments for the holidays. You'll learn about the awesome health benefits of fermented foods and how to prepare them safely in your own kitchen. At the workshop, you'll make Celery “Stuffing” and Cranberry Relish. You'll be able to take these home and they will be ready for your holiday get-togethers. Your family, friends and guests will marvel at the unique flavors and your culinary skills. Carrie is a Certified Fermentationist and organizer of "Kraut, Kimchi and More". She studied the art and science of fermentation under Summer Bock and is also a Functional Medicine Health coach. She has presented a number of times before to Permaculture Woodinville, and is always fun and informative.
