For many, the teenage years are the most challenging time in life. This is when peer pressure asserts itself most forcefully and issues like alcohol, drugs, gender issues and sex often present. This is also when teenagers start to think about what they really want from life, and wonder if they can achieve it.

Teen Insight I brings together teenagers from diverse backgrounds who discover that they are not alone; they all face similar challenges. What’s more, the teens experience the power of their loving heart to resolve conflicts — both inner conflicts and outer conflicts. They learn to make conscious choices that support creating the life experiences they really want.
The teens in the Teen Insight I seminar make close connections and practice compassionate leadership. They start awakening to the magnificence of their heart.
OVERVIEW
Teen Insight I -- The Awakening Heart is a 3.5-day seminar that follows a format similar to the adult Insight I seminar except that teens typically move through their issues more quickly than adults. As a result, deeper work can be accomplished more quickly.
Resistance to being in the seminar is addressed in the early part of the seminar’s first day. By the end of the seminar most teens are looking for ways to continue the experience and maintain connection with their new friends.

The seminar structure and dynamic pace capture teens’ imagination, and includes one-to-one processes, small group exercises and whole-group activities. While similar to the adult Insight I, the Teen seminar includes more age appropriate games, dancing and fun. Both heartfelt laughter and joyful tears are keynotes of the Teen Insight I seminar.
To accommodate school schedules, the seminar has been scheduled to take place at the end of the February school vacation week in Massachusetts.

The seminar teaches practical tools that the teen can use every day -- in schools, with the family, with peers, and in business. It helps the teen identify and integrate inner and outer resources towards what the teen identifies as major goals for her life.
On the final day of the seminar parents meet in a special session with facilitators to be apprised of what to expect from their teen and to learn how to best support new positive behavior.
