As a life coach, I have always been very interested in how our mind works.
Thanks to one of our Meetup members, Debra, for letting me know about Insight Mediation Center (IMC) at Redwood City.
I plan to check out their Mindfulness, Conflict Resolution and Neuroscience class. I am inviting you to join me if you are also interested in developing even more inner peace and cultivating even more compassion.
This is a Three Week Series: January 5, 12, and 19 (Thursday nights)
In this 3 week series, Daniel Bowling (http://www.audiodharma.org/teacher/22/), the co-author of Bringing Peace into the Room, will discuss specific teachings of the Buddha on how to communicate and resolve conflict mindfully. He will draw on his years of experience as a lawyer and mediator and will include what neuroscience is revealing about how mindfulness practice can help us learn to communicate more skillfully.
Schedule of the night:
7: 30 pm - 8:15 pm - Silence Meditation, meaning that it is not guided (45 mins)
8:15 pm - 9 pm - Talk by Daniel Bowling (45 mins)
You are feel to attend the whole 3 weeks. But the Meetup is only for the first lecture on Jan 5th.

There is no cost for classes, events and retreats at IMC. Donations are welcome. Registration is NOT required with IMC.
