    Park and start from the Left Bank and walk to Bicton Pool, catch the aura of river lights as we walk the well lit path to the jetty at Bicton then back to Left Bank for a coffee / beer / dinner for those who have time. Toilets available along the way.

  • Star Swamp Bushland Reserve North Beach

    NOTE: EVENT HOST CLAIRE Meet us at 8:15am outside the Castle Street Community Centre at 8:15am for an 8:30am start. Star Swamp Bushland Reserve is a bushland reserve occupying about half of the land area of the suburbs of Watermans Bay and North Beach in the northern suburbs of Perth. Star Swamp contains a history trail that spans over a 1.4 km walk. The trail contains 10 points of interest each marked with a plaque and sign. After the walk we can have a coffee in Flora Street.

  • Coogee Beach Walk

    Coogee Beach Cafe

    This is a self hosted event - please meet and greet at specified time for scheduled walk. Meet at Coogee Beach Cafe.. (Summer)We'll walk along hard sand barefoot to Woodman's Point then back and a cuppa at the cafe for those who've got time. There's a hard path to and from if preferred. There's lots of other walkers, seagulls and hopefully sunshine on this walk. Walk is about 5ks all up. Look forward to seeing you there. (Winter) Time to bring the shoes for the path walk . Beach may be washed away and too cold. We'll walk up to and around Woodmans Point and head back for a warm cuppa at the cafe. See you there.

  • FREE WALK Whistlepipe Gully Kalamunda ( 25-FULLY BOOKED)

    Mundy Regional Park

    About the hike: Reasonably easy return walk in the Mundy Regional Park, Whistlepipe Gully in the Perth Hills. The trail follows the narrow river as it courses over cascades and small waterfalls and offers views over the coastal plain to Perth. It's really beautiful. BRING YOUR TEENS with a responsible adult. Bring your camera. Cost: Free to me hence free to you. Distance: 3.5 Km approx. Pace: Steady!!!! It’s a walk to enjoy and not a race. There are many photo opportunities and moments to stop and appreciate. Let’s not rush. Category: Easy- Moderate Terrain: Some up and down hill. Uneven surface and slippery surfaces. Walking poles are helpful but not essential. Parking: Free but limited space. Toilet Facilities: Bushes. How to get there: There appear to be 2 Lewis roads in Kalamunda and one of them is wrong. First head for Wandoo road on your Sat Nav and then turn Left into Lewis road. I’ll have a bright orange flag on my bag. What to bring essential: Plenty of water and food. A good idea: Nibbles and a picnic and decent piece of cake to offer the leader (Joke). A thermos. I carry a small plastic sheet to sit on. What to wear: Dress weather appropriate. Thin layers are best. Bring a back pack. Good gripping footwear. Stilettoes not advised!     Please note there are no cash out facilities so bring cash if you want coffee or food. Meet in the carpark just inside the entrance at 8:45am. The park opens at 9:00am and it will be busy. There is a $15 admission fee. Toilets are at the carpark. Feel free to wander and explore at your own pace and we’ll arrange a time to catch up for coffee later in the morning.   • Lake Joondalup Walk

    Wanneroo Botanic Gardens and Mini Golf

    Please note later start time of 9:00am (due to my work commitments) Starting at Botanical Gardens in Wanneroo, we'll walk through to Neil Hawkins Park. On the way there we'll detour through the wetland trail and on the way back via the lookout deck. It's about an 8km walk on well made tracks and no major hills, please allow up to 1.5 hours for this walk. Afterwards we can stop at Botanical Gardens cafe for a cuppa for those who'd like to stay. Please note due to roadworks that there is no right turn to Botanical Gardens from Joondalup Drive if you are coming from the freeway. You will need to go past the gardens to the new roundabout, and either do a complete loop around to go back to the left turn to the gardens or turn right onto Wanneroo Road and immediately to the right there is a turn area to go through Drover's shopping area.

  • Deep Water Point to Heathcote Walk

    MEETING EVERY MONDAY EVENING, INCLUDING PUBLIC HOLIDAYS. Please place your attendance. We meet at 5:50pm and set off at 6pm. We walk along the Canning River on the Mt Pleasant foreshore towards Canning Bridge, passing the Raffles hotel and South of Perth Yacht Club and up to the Heathcote precinct & returning back along the same way. The walk is excepted to take no longer than an hour and a half. You are welcome to join the group for a meal, drink and a chat after the walk. Public Transport to and fro, is easily accessible at either Canning Bridge Train Station or bus routes along Canning Hwy. If you are interested, then please register to come and join us.

  • Scarborough to Mettams Pool Coastal Footpath Walk & Optional Dinner

    On every Monday Evening: Meeting at 6.15pm Sharp outside the Peter's By The Sea Greek Restaurant (50 metres north of Rendezvous Observation City Hotel) in Scarborough on the Scarborough cappuccino strip, next to the car park on the sea side of Rendezvous Observation City Hotel. Start walking at 6.30pm Sharp on the footpath north to Mettams Pool & return to Scarborough for optional Dinner/Drinks/Coffees. Please park 100 metres north of the Restaurant in front of Observation Rise Apartments. Distance = 3km each way = 6kms total. Walk will be at an Easy pace. Please wear good walking shoes & bring water, jacket & torch. Walk is still on if raining - if so, Please bring rain coat. Several other walkers from my other walking club will also be joining us.   • Walk - Applecross foreshore to Heathcote

    East Court Property Group

    We will be starting at the East Court Property Group which has parking available after business hours on Conon Road (opposite the The Quarter Acre Hotel and Ardross Tyre Service) We will be meeting for 5:45pm for a no nonsense start at 6pm. The walk encompasses a lovely relaxing walk along Lucky Bay toward Dundas Point and Point Heathcote then return back through the back streets to Riseley shopping precinct for meal. Depending on our speed this walk is just about an hour and a half long. People are welcome to stay for coffee or a meal (or both). This walk enables easy access points for people using buses that service the public to and from Fremantle and Perth (via Canning Bridge Train Station). If you are interested, then come and join us
