What we're about

This is the page for the Perth Computational Design Group which is part of a national network with groups established in Brisbane and Sydney. These events will run bimonthly, with invited specialists from the AEC industry to talk about design and technology in their respective fields.

The objective is to bring together anyone who is curious or passionate about computational design to share ideas, workflows, research or projects over drinks and pizza.

The format is typically two 20 minute presentations with time for questions and networking afterwards.

We are interested in anything digital in the AEC Industry.

- Design Thinking

- Rhino + Grasshopper

- BIM Workflows

- Revit + Dynamo

- Robotics

- Advanced Digital Fabrication

- Spatial Data and urban design

- Analysis and simulations

- Public and digital art

We are looking for people interested in talking about live projects as well as complete projects. We welcome anyone who is willing to speak about current problems they are facing, opening up questions to the audience for feedback to get you back on track.

If you’d like to talk about your project, have a set of tips, or a recent paper (even if its not yours – obviously with credit given) during one of the next meetups, our hosts would love to hear from you!
