Emotions are part of life. The motivate us towards what feels good, and away from what feels bad.

But we don't always notice our feelings, know where they come from or how to cope when they seem overwhelming.

In this group we will explore the world of emotions by using art as a tool for expression, understanding and healing. Developing emotional intelligence is about becoming aware of our own emotions, learning to cope with them and manage our behaviour. By understanding how we manage our own emotions we can then become aware of others' feelings and how to respond appropriately.

Note that this group is not treatment for diagnosable mood disorders, if you suspect you are experiencing mental illness symptoms please check with your primary health care provider that this is right for you as a complementary activity.

Join the Perth Creative Art Therapy Group on Monday evenings 6:30pm till 8:30pm. The workshops will be held at Creative Catalyst, 175 Walcott St Mount Lawley, street parking is available on the street after 6pm.
