Mark Teehan
Bio:
In his day-to-day work, Mark engages with customers to evaluate business and technical requirements, helps guide technical teams while conducting POCs and acts as a liaison between customers and the engineering teams in Confluent. Prior to Confluent, Mark lead the HANA proof of concept team in SAP. His first role in Singapore was on the tech team implementing servers, databases, cards and devices for EZ-Link.

Abstract: This talk from Mark will include an introduction to ksqlDB; a comparison of JDBC Source and Debezium CDC, as well as a demo.

Bio:
Brett Randall is a Systems Engineer with Confluent in Sydney, Australia. He helps organisations develop their Event Streaming strategy and implementations across the APAC region. Brett has a background in big and fast-data development, open source, machine-learning and cloud-first development.
