Social Ultimate frisbee; then pub!

Location visible to members

5:45pm - Arrive We will be throwing frisbees around as a warm-up while the fields are organised. I will collect the new members and explain the rules before randomly assigning teams. 6:00pm - Start! Games last between 10-20 minutes or until the whistle blows. Your team rotates clockwise around the fields unless you're in the best-number-one-top-of-the-league-super-dooper-extra-amazing team one in which case you stay put. Rotation diagram Game One Game Two 1 - 2 - 3 ------> 1 - 6 - 2 6 - 5 - 4 ------> 5 - 4 - 3 8:00pm - Finish! Head to the closest pub to eat, drink, and socialise. This event is open to anyone and everyone! Many people (myself included) had not been to a Meet-up before attending this, so don't stress if it's your first time - we're all friendly so come over and have a throw. Ultimate is honestly the easiest way to make new friends. If it's your first time we will walk you though it. Make sure you update your RSVP if you can't make it as a basic courtesy to all, it also helps with the planning. FAQ: "How will I know who the meet up group is?" We'll be the ones at the location specified throwing frisbees. Check the map for more details or message the group. "Is this just standing around throwing a frisbee back and forth?" NO!!!! It is actually a sport! You'll need to bring a water bottle and wear appropriate clothing and sport shoes (unless you're happy going barefoot, which is also an option). "What if I need to pee?" There are usually toilets available close to where we are playing. "Do I have to play the whole time?" Nope! If you're unable to play the entire time just let us know down below in the comments prior to arrival. "Do I have to pay anything?" Nope! This is a free event. DISCLAIMER I am not a qualified physical education teacher or personal trainer and no first aiders are present at any of my events unless one of the Meet-up members happens to be a trained first aider or doctor. Event organisers and hosts assume no other responsibility. Frisbee like most field sports comes with some risk of injury and therefore participants are responsible for assessing their own risks, the safety of both themselves and their guests and the suitability of equipment used.
