RE: [Perth-a11y] Your opinion needed - date decision for WA accessibility camp

Hi Scott,

I think February is our better option.  There are a lot of conflicting work pressures up to the end of December so I think we could do a more focused job in the new year.

Subject: [Perth-a11y] Your opinion needed - date decision for WA accessibility camp

To the Perth accessibility meetup list

After lots of hard work by Vivienne it looks like we now have a major sponsor for the Perth Web Accessibility Camp.  However we’re starting to run out of year to host it, so we’ve been debating as to whether it would be best to hold it this year or next year.

As such, it would be great to get the views of the Perth web accessibility community before a choice is made, and we have a relatively short window to make the decision.

Could you please provide feedback on which of the two options you llike the best:

·         Hold the camp on Wednesday 14 December; or

·         Host the camp in early February

If you could also provide a few sentences on your reasoning it’d be great too.

If you could send a quick e-mail with your thoughts it’d be great.  You’re welcome to e-mail the list or e-mail me directly if you prefer.  Once all the feedback comes in, I’ll forward it to Vivienne to progress a decision.  If you could send yoru e-mails in by COB Monday it’d be great.

Thanks everyone

Scott
