Between 1st October and 31st May we offer 3-5, 75 minute, yoga classes a week and during 1st June - 30th September ('Winter') we run 1 weekly class on a Sunday at 9.30am. All these events are subject to Perth's very kind weather conditions and our Weather Cancellation Policy, that we use to bring you events.

Historically, we have nearly always been lucky with the Winter weather for the Sunday classes and occasionally on the Wednesday evenings in Winter, so from time-to-time our teachers may chose to run up to another 2 classes during the Winter, giving you 1-3 outdoor classes a week to attend during these colder months.

If the teacher of the Sunday 9.30am class chooses to run the Sunday 8am class during Winter, or any additional class that is not scheduled on our calendar, then the class will be announced when initiated by the teacher. Similarly, if one of our teachers chooses to run a Wednesday 5.30pm class during the cooler months between 1st June and 30th September ('Winter'), the class duration will be reduced to 60 minutes, to cater for the cooler evenings.

Please note that apart from the 9.30am Sunday class, other outdoor classes during the Winter are not guaranteed and will be initiated and announced by the teacher of that class and confirmed in accordance with our Weather Cancellations and Confirmations Policy.

The Meetup platform will continue to be used for people in Perth to secure a handful of Donation spots, which will only be for attendees with Donation Member Status. Members of our group who require financial assistance from us can prove their eligibility for a student, senior or Centrelink concession and access donation spots by submitting a By Donation Application Form. Within this form you will be asked to upload a picture of a current: Student ID Card; Senior Citizen Card; or Health Care Card (issued by Centrelink). Once this form has been submitted to us, we will endeavor to deliberate on your application within 14 days and will send you a notice of the outcome identifying any term that the Donation Member Status will apply for.

Once your Donation Member Status has been approved, you can book donation spots via our Website or Meetup in the usual way and pay the teacher an optional donation amount before class begins. You will not be required to show your concession ID or update your member status details with until the expiry of your Donation Member Status, when you may apply again. Donations are made at your discretion and we ask that you use this privilege justly to help you when you most need. So please give what you can, when you can (once you are approved) so that the project can sustain to help others when they need the concession.

From 1st April 2019, priority shall be given, first to attendees that book via our website, or that hold a ticket from Eventbrite or Classpass, as these attendees have already paid in full. Drop-in students, who have not booked in advance will be asked to provide payment to the teacher after you have registered and signed the online Waiver on your first visit. Payment can be made in Cash, by Debit or Credit Card or by redeeming a Karma Card you have purchased.

Historically, asking for additional contributions in the form of dues or subs hasn't worked for our group and this is one of the reasons we are making the above changes. We also understand that people may find it more convenient (and have less resistance ) to give additional contributions (pledged to us on signup) in amounts donated to our teacher when you attend class. From 1st April 2019, we will no longer ask our members for a gold coin donation towards the cost of overheads, income tax, park fees and insurance. Instead we have introduced the pricing above to cover the cost of classes better and to sustain our project over the next 5 years.

To keep to the integrity and spirit of our Social Mission expanding more than ever, we have created several new, effortless processes to solve the logistics of processing bookings and assessing the eligibility of our members that book donation spots. Through the new processes being implemented, we will be able to reach more people who are finding yoga activities challenging to access (for whatever reason) so we can give them options and support for their health care.

We are proud to be offering the longest serving donation park yoga program in Perth and can now guarantee affordable yoga classes to you as a member, even if you suddenly experience financial difficulty for a period of time and have no money, as you will be supported by us and granted access to our classes under the new scheme.

To register for financial assistance with us and continue taking advantage of our Donation Yoga Program, please complete a By Donation Application Form, and we will notify you of the outcome within 14 days.

What will we achieve next with your money?

Every asana you do, every breathe you take will put us further towards our Social Mission, preparing this world for its transformation in the future. Here's what we are about to do next!:

Our 2019/2020 plan includes continuing to expand the South Perth Park classes and extend our reach to bring donation Yoga classes to more low income earners and those in financial distress. Our By Donation Application Form above, if approved, will give any of our members an avenue to continue to come to class even when you have little or no money, which is one of our most powerful tools we have created moving forward. We are also finalising arrangements to deliver Saturday classes in summer 2019/2020 and bringing Yoga to Kwinana Greenways and the VETSOS School of Murdoch University, to support our ever inspiring young people and students with less money.

We want to reach out to bring yoga to people with disabilities, and after making strong connections in this area in 2018, William has begun studying a Cert III qualification in Individual Support (Disability) and is in early stages of aligning with N-F-P organisation, Intelife Employment and other similar Social groups to see what value and learning can be exchanged in that space. More info coming in September 2019.

With the park classes ticking like a well oiled, German machine, William is off with his swag bag, to a list of regional WA, NT and QLD towns and communities across Arman Land, to deliver 3 months of Yoga Classes for Miners, Diggers, Drivers and Drovers that keep this country running every day. William hopes to extend this access to our beloved Aboriginal Communities to see what Yogi's can learn from the stories and values of this land and it's original ancestral lineage.
